Onion Seeds - Evergreen White Bunching Nebuka

Plant them first in planting trays (redwood box, old cat box, whatever) and then transplant them to the garden when they are about 1/2 the size of a pencil. In this way you can eliminate weed competition that always happens when you plant such a tiny seed. It also makes them very easy to use as a border planting. Many pest do not like onions and may not cross the border. So not only do you save space, but you create natural barriers.
