An heirloom leaf type variety. The leaves are deer tongue-shaped with a point and are lime green with red trim. Rich nutty flavor. This late bolting lettuce was brought over from Europe, and it spread wild all over the Northern American Continent. Can be a single or multiple harvested lettuce. Mature plants will produce loose heads for single-cut harvests. The individual leaves may be harvested to extend the harvest window.
